First, I rolled out a large slab and laid it on a plate to mold it. I waited for it to dry for a couple days. I printed the Bojangles logo and traced it onto the plate. I used ribbon tools to carve the logo in deeper and then painted black under glaze onto the design. The next day, I tried scraping the underglaze off, and my piece cracked. I decided to try again so I rolled another slab and put it on a plate mold. The next day I put under glaze on it again. When I tried to scrape it the next day, it cracked again. I decided to try one more time because it was due very soon. I rolled another slab and let it dry over the weekend. I put under glaze on and very carefully scraped it off. The piece still cracked, but only a minor crack in the corner of the plate, so I figured I would keep going because time was running out. I very carefully continued scraping and started painting glaze onto the letters and the rest of the logo. The glaze went into the smaller letters that read "Famous Chicken N Biscuits" and kind of covered up the under glaze. The glaze colors started mixing a little bit, but I powered through anyway.
