pros:
- i think the face of the cat came out very well cons - the body doesn’t look very real and accurate - the glaze caused some problems - the wings wouldn’t stay in process first, i took a chunk of clay and sculpted the body. i cut legs out and sculpted the back legs and thighs. I then created a round head to score and slip it to the body i had already created. then, I started adding clay to the face to make a nose shape and i pressed into the face to make eye sockets. I drew on closed eyes and a nose and a mouth. after that, i shaped wire into a wing shape and put holes in the back of the cat to put the wings into. then, I scratched a P into the front of the cat’s chest because her name is Pepper. I put on a clear glaze and when it came out of the kiln, there were bumps on it’s back and all over it and there were weird spots of color. The wings wouldn’t stay up when I put them in so I hot glued them.
